Kua Designs Purses

The concept of the Kua Designs purse line was developed in the Summer of 2008 and was born out of the designer's desire to expand into other types of accessories especially those that could compliment her already successful jewelry design venture. The designer's creative side craved the vibrancy in African fabric and her business side recognized a void in truly authentic African-inspired accessories. With that simple premise, and inspiration from her mother's closet, the Kua Designs purse line was born. Mixing playful shapes with authentic African fabrics, the Kua Designs purse line seeks to showcase the beauty in African accessories.
Kua Designs purses currently has four lines: Bolga, Axim, Nkran and Kumasi. The names of these lines are names of towns in Ghana and the purses bear some similarity to the towns they represent. It is therefore no wonder we refer to these purses as 'girls' and not 'purses' :) And yes, they all have names and rightfully so :)
